1. Introduction

slaye ("we," "our," or "the App") is an AI-powered makeup try-on application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use slaye. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Images

When you use slaye, you provide selfie images via your device camera or photo library. These images are:

  • Uploaded to our secure servers for AI processing
  • Sent to third-party AI services (Kie AI) to generate your makeup transformation
  • Automatically deleted from our servers after processing is complete
  • Stored locally on your device in your personal gallery (until you delete them)

We do not retain your selfie images on our servers after processing. Input images are deleted immediately after the transformation is generated.

2.2 Device Identifier

We collect your Android device identifier (Android ID) to:

  • Manage your subscription and credits balance
  • Prevent abuse of the free trial system
  • Authenticate your requests to our server

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information.

2.3 Purchase Data

If you subscribe to slaye Premium, your purchase is processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat receives your device identifier and purchase receipt. We do not have access to your payment method details.

2.4 Local Data

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Your transformation history (before/after images, style name, date)
  • Onboarding completion status
  • App preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Kie AI — AI image processing. Receives your selfie images to generate makeup transformations. Images are processed and not retained by Kie AI beyond the processing session.
  • Supabase — Temporary cloud storage for image upload during processing, and database for user credits and job tracking. Input images are deleted after processing.
  • RevenueCat — Subscription and purchase management. Receives your device identifier and purchase receipts from Google Play.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide the AI makeup transformation service
  • Manage your subscription, credits, and referral rewards
  • Prevent abuse and ensure fair usage
  • Improve the App's performance and reliability

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Images are processed in transit and deleted from our servers after transformation. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Selfie images: Deleted from our servers immediately after AI processing completes.
  • Generated images: Stored only on your device. You can delete them at any time from the in-app gallery.
  • Account data: You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We perform a soft delete with a 30-day grace period, after which all associated data is permanently removed.
  • Device identifier: Removed from our systems when your account is permanently deleted.

7. Children's Privacy

slaye is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with data, we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Delete your local transformation history at any time
  • Request information about what data we hold
  • Opt out of data collection by uninstalling the App

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
